En route to California, we'll be stopping in Denver to see the King Tut Exhibit at the Denver Museum of History. Then, it's on to Western Colorado through the Rockies and past Vail and Aspen. Our overnight destination will probably be Grand Junction, located near the Utah border. Then we can take a short drive to Bryce Canyon National Park, one of the more beautiful spots in the country. We'll leave Bryce and head West through Nevada, hoping to make California in about a day and half in time to enjoy a short day off before the reunion begins.
Our goal on this trip is to catch geographic landmarks we've never seen before (i.e. Bryce, Yellowstone, Mount Rushmore).
We'll keep you posted and hopefully add photos, if we can figure out how to do that!
